Windows XP:USB Driver (Chipset!?) and VGA driver for Lenovo B590 ???

2014-03-06, 8:33 AM

Hello,

I need Windows XP on the Lenovo B590 but I am fighting with some problems:

1)

USB driver seems to be installed correctly (no yellow question marks shown in XP device manager)

But connecting an USB stick, often a windows occurs which says "New hardware detected" and the system installes every time  the  driver !!?

I assume I need a proper chipset driver to solve this behaviour?

But ther is no XP chipset driver offered on the lenovo support page!

Any idea what I can do to avoid installing the drivers every time I plug in an USB stick?

2)

In  device manager I see question Marks for VGA driver, only a standard driver is used.

No serious problem, but is there a Windoes XP Display Driver for the Lenovo B590 available?

Lenovo B590 support side does not offer this driver for Windows XP.

Thanks for any hint!

Hey Segeant113,

        Welcome to the forums,

You would need to download the VGA drivers for your B590 directly from the Intel Website, intel chipset drivers can also be downloaded directly from the Intel website
