Just recently purchased the laptop and it is getting a message that it will not charge the battery because it is not a genuine lenovo battery, which it is. Purchased a new battery still getting the same message and it will not charge. The laptop will boot and run normally when you remove the battery. Running Win7 sp1 64. Anyone what problem could be or how to correct, would like to be able to use laptop with out having to have a power outlet everywhere.

I’m sorry to hear that your B575 Laptop is displaying “Not Charging/Non Genuine” battery. I would suggest you to re-install the LEM (Lenovo Energy Management) from the support website and if the issue persists. I would suggest you to contact our Technical Support for further Assistance to get the details of the nearest Authorized Service Center to get the issue analyzed.
