g50-70 wireless problem

hi, my wireless is not working. network controller and unknown device has exclamation marks.

Bios setting for wireless is enabled.

 

tried download the driver : http://support.lenovo.com/my/ms/products/laptops-and-netbooks/lenovo-g-series-laptops/g50-70-noteboo...

 

still same cant install...

 

 

 

pls help, and as i can see, most lenovo have this problem why??? alot of people in this forum also complaning the same issues..

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

 

Can you share the Device ID of your Ethernet controller and that Unknown Device.

 

Open Device Manager and

  

Under Device Manager

    Right-click on your Unknown Device and choose Properties

 

Then like on the photo

    click Details Tab 

    click on the dropdown and Choose Hardware Ids

    Then Copy the first line of the hardware ID

 

Let me know your findings

tried all the solutions given by the people in the thread, not successful.

 

this is wat it says, when i installed driver for g510:

The device may not be present

 

and when i installed driver for g50-70, i get this error:

network controller is the wireless adapter...then what is the unknown device?? what its function??

That Unknown Device is the ACPI Power Controller

 

This should take care of it

done...solved.... for the wireless:

download the latest driver version......... 

  • Driver Version: 10.0.0.276

 

for power management...thats the unknown device:
