lenovo G580 overheating

hello

 

so this is the problem of every laptop user in the world (overheating) , my laptop fall out of hands and it brok my hdd, so i had to buy a new one which was toshiba 500 GB, but after i installed it i was faceing a new problom witch was overheating in every where of the laptop, I thought that the problem was form the new HDD and i replaced it but still the same, the HDD the Ram the Cpu the Gpu every thing was getting hot , i tried to clean it up but it didn't work i used a new threamal paste still didn't work the fan works very well , someguy told me that it could be the heatsink is not working any more but i don't really think it is the problem .

 

 

so please tell me any solution.

If the notebook suffered a drop, one that broke the HDD then it could have damaged the Heatsink / Fan as well. If the heatsink is not in firm contact with the CPU / GPU it will cause the overheating issue, also check to make sure the fan is working, it is necessary to move air in/out of the notebook.

Hi hamoz1993,

 

Greetings.

 

I would also say the heatsink and fan needs to be check as it fails to draw the heat out from the parts otherwise it can be a bad board. Having it check with your local service center can help verify the issue as they would have spares handy to swap.
