lenovo b41-30: static noise from the speakers

Hi, i have problem with sound on Lenovo b41-30.When listening to music/watching movies,  sound from speakers slows down and eventually there are only static/crackling noise. I tried to rule reinstall/update drivers. I think that it is hardware issue, either faulty speakers or sound card. I will be thankfull for any advice for what i could try before sending it for warranty repair. Thanks in advance for any advice

Re: lenovo b41-30: static noise from the speakers

Hi Bakosk,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

To isolate the speakers from the audio chipset and internal speakers, you can the sound while plugged to an earphone/headset. Check if there if both speakers are affected if possible through the sound test (right click on speaker icon for properties > advance). Test if disabling enhancements would make any difference.

Hardware issue is probable if same noise on speakers but works fine on external speakers especially if factory reset has already been performed. Calling in warranty support would be the best option for such cases.

Hope this helps answer your query.

Update us how it goes.

Regards
