lenovo g50-45 wifi problem

Reinstalled Windows 10. Installed driver from lenovo website. (Realtek RTL8723BE) After restart Wifi is connecting properly, but after few minutes is changing to strange network. (IP: 169.254.181.8 when usual is 192.168.1.x) In Device Manager looks like system is updating something all the time. Please advice.

Re: lenovo g50-45 wifi problem

DHCP is not setup correctly and/or your computer is unable to reach the DHCP server to automatically obtain an proper IP Address, and thus is self assigning a bogus 169.254.x.x address.

To correct the problem, you need to check your network settings to ensure that your DHCP server configuration is setup properly for your particular Internet provider/router.

Typing   ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt  at a Command Prompt (Admin) will create a text file that contains your Internet settings that you might find useful in troubleshooting your issue.
