There is no harmful radiation from these laptop. You probably are getting the headache due to the LCD brightness/contrast been set incorrectly, or you have a medical condition relating to viewing certain colour and patterns displayed on the LCD.
There is no easy way of detecting harmful radiation without some specialist equipments.

other than the wireless card or bluetooth module emitting radio wave, the other components should not anything much in terms EM radiation.
If you are worried about radiation, take it to a specialist lab, they should give a detailed report on how radiation is emitted by your machine.

Hardware has a series of certificates. If you suspect that your laptop is a nuclear reactor, call customer service and ask for a technical service.

Here is what you can do..
Attach a monitor to your laptop that you KNOW does not give you headache. LCD on your laptop should be off. Work with it..
If no headache, then it's a combination of refresh rate / color / etc on your laptop's LCD.
The only solution for that then is to get rid of your laptop and buy another one.. I suggest going to a store and looking at different laptops, pick the one that doesn't give you a headache.
P.S. To get even lightheaded after 10 minutes from radiation you'd have to be shoveling dirt from Chernobyl reactor. Most likely it's a psychological issue and has more to do with your worker not willing to work, than anything else. It's much more practical to fire him or her than to accomodate this and that.. In the end he or she might end up starting a chain reaction of legal bull.
