"Fn+F5" does not switch the wi-fi in G410m-mm

Hello!

"Fn+F5" does not switch the wi-fi in G410m-mm. How to make the shortcut work? All drivers and utilities are installed.

Regards,

Dmitry

So we meet again, Dmitriy Robot Happy

This shortcut works under two conditions:

1)The switch at the right side of laptop is switched  ON

2)The energycut driver is installed

What OS do you use?

Re: "Fn+F5" does not switch the wi-fi in G410m-mm

There's a new Energycut driver for G410 on website, maybe it will help?

Before installing uninstall previous version of energycut.

On my girl's G410 sometimesfunctionary combinations do not work - usually after sleep/hibernate mode. I have to restart to pass through it. Does restart make any sense?

Thanks skripatch for your reply!

I turn off power by hibernating. I  do not restart usually.

Well, so do I also - I tuned hibernation to lid closing and jsut close the notebook to end work.

But all Lenovo laptops seems to have problems with Vista hibernate/sleep mode. Afterfresh restart/reboot usually things return to normal state, though often restarts are annoying.

Thanks skripatch for your experience!

Then, I will try to return the G410m-mm to the Mediamartk shop after September 20. I bought the G410 there on August 25. Also, the cardreader requests to format good SD cards with files and folders, cannot read them.

Re: "Fn+F5" does not switch the wi-fi in G410m-mm

I suggest another driver for cardreader or maybe you're trying to use SDHC cards instead of SD.

I doubt that you'll be able to return it in MM after 20 September.

Due to Russian law suite after two weeks you can only return it in case of unrepaireable malfunction. If you hurry up right now you can come in time.

Thanks skripatch for your opinion!

I tried with both drivers: from the driver CD and from the site. The cards are readable in the G410 through an external USB reader. The cards are not SDHC, they are 64mb and 2gb miniSD cards in a SD adapter. I bought the G410 on September 25, not 20. Why can I "come in time right now", but not between September 20 and 25?

Dmitry

Suggest it is  a typo, September 25 is future =)

According to ZoZPP you can return a technically complicated device only in two weeks after a purchase. Google for it, it will help you to hurry on with decision.

Pity, that we've come to such a result.
