Hi i bought my laptop 3 months ago...
My laptop model is G580 (p/n59-358346 model nane: 20157)
from starting onwards i have a problem...
My problem is when i tried to turn on wifi with my keyboard (when i pressed fn+F5) there is no response
and another way im turning on wifi through windows mobility center(control panel --> windows Mobility Center --> wireless network) through this process i am turning on my wifi.
I had reinstall my operating system twice and reinstalled the wifi driver so many times but with the keyboard shortcut my wifi is not operating..
I dont know where the problem is? whether the problem is with wifi or with keyboard???
please any one give me suggestions.....what is the problem???

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!
First Make sure to check under Control Panel / Programs and Features / Uninstall a program
See if you have Lenovo Energy Management Installed,
If Yes Uninstall it and proceed to installing the Software Below
If no Proceed Installing this Software
Restart the system after installation and check the FN+F5 if it going to work.
Hope this helps

i was facing this problem from many Days, Now i Got the Solution eventually, i Tried every Key but I can't understand what i should do.
1 Just Simple Press on Airplane Mode key
2 Then a new window open then change the Wireless network card status into On as like in Picture.
3 After that enjoy the Wifi on your Laptop
