Help please - Lenovo J3000 (7387) can't boot up

2014-02-18, 22:27 PM

I had Lenovo J3000 (7387) desktop. After I turned it on today, the light in front panel is on, but the system can't boot up. It can't even enter BIOS yet.

I changed CMOS battery. But it didn't help.

Does anyone has any suggestion?

Thanks  a lot

Fred

Hi Fred,

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

I’m sorry to hear that your J3000 Desktop is not booting to windows, I suggest you to perform the Flee-Power and let me know if the Lenovo Logo is displayed while you turn ON the computer. Below are the steps to check the issue:

  1. Remove the Power Cable connected to the Tower.CPU and any other peripheral device connected.
  2. Hold the power button for 10-15 seconds and then connect and try to turn ON the computer.

Do post us back if the issue still persists.

Best Regards

Shiva Kumar

Hi Shiver,

   Thanks for your suggestion.

I followed your direction to act. But Lenovo Logo is still not even displayed yet.

  Anything else can I do?

Thanks

Fred

Hi Fred,

As the issue persists even after performing the Flee-Power the issue seems to be hardware related. The only available option is to contact our Technical Support for further Assistance to get the details of nearest Authorized Service Center to get the issue analyzed.

Click here to open a link where you can select the country and get the exact contact support number. I’m sure they will be a great help.

Do post us back for further queries.

Best Regards

Shiva Kumar
