As this is a fairly new forum and Lenovo would appreciate your commemts on their tech support we should post our experience with them.

From a rating of 1 to 10 . 10 being excellent and 1 poor. Have to give it a number 1. Standard answers they give we dont support software issues even if its rescue and recovery. As far as hardware they dont know the type of hard drive you have. You have to call sales who gives you a part number. Questions on entering the bios is not explained etc. The only thing they give you is a case number.

    Tech support is terrible.  I have the Office Depot Quad Core special and I was told on 3 different phoen calls that I was calling the wrong copmany because they didn't produce such a PC.  No one could find the model number, or serial number.  When I called warranty support to see if they could at least find the PC model in their system, they were exceedingly rude and told me to call Office Depot to get PC info.
    My K100 Quad has been great so far...hope I don't have any tech issues.

I'd give it about a negative ten.  I wasted four hours calling different parts of the company and waiting for them to return my call.  I eventually had to call them back.  The phone options wouldn't go to the desktop section, I had to be routed from the laptop section by one of the people there.  The problem wasn't fixed anyways.

What was the problem your having?  Can you explain a bit more, and if you haven't gotten help, perhaps others in the forum can, or you can send me a PM with your contact information and some details and I will try to get the issue addressed for you.

Thanks for sharing - it is helpful to know what isn't working well, and what needs to change.   Following a service or support engagement, everyone should receive a survey opportunity via email, and I would encourage everyone to take advantage of that opportunity to help us improve.
 
I would also encourage everyone to share here as well, your experiences both good and bad.    Constructive criticism is helpful, and it is especially helpful when details are provided.   What numbers were called?  What was the outcome?  From a rep at which number were you awaiting a call back that never came?  
 
These details help us improve by allowing us to investigate the appropriate areas.

I would like to give them a great 9  because of the fact that
 
1) English and could understand what I was asking for. Power Supply Question. (Which I swithched out anyways)
 
2) Power Dial Light Problem  they were no help but Understood the problem and tried to talk with the tech guys to help me. (At least they had the sense to ask)
 
3)Sent me FREE Hard Drive sleeve by AIRMAIL   FREE!   Yes it isn't much but the thought of them sending me a product so fast and Free keeps me hoping that there are Companies out there like www.dillonprecision.com
that care about their product and will go to lengths to help.
 
My 3000K100 or the Blue,Red,Green Eye special is going to be quite the companion for a while.  Remember that I do know my way around a computer and this is my First Company Made computer. My other is an old Mutt.
 
The Fact that they have this Fourm is a great idea also, just wish I could post pics instead of using a dang web site.
 
Gets a 9 for almost there and will keep me happy for a while.
 
OH the 10 would have been if I had the Video card and could been gamming by now.   Soon my son , soon.....

I'm not impressed. The local warranty service provider has had my desktop for over a month. They have no ETR. Lenovo gave me an ETR of 14 March. My call on 17 March resulted in "no ETR we will call you back". No return phonecall. The computer is awaiting a new motherboard. Apparently, there are none!! No parts, no ETR. How long am I supposed to wait before I give up? The representative on the phone apologized, during the call, because her computer was so slow. At least she has one. Nobody can give me any idea of how long I will have to wait or should wait. Not impressed.

Sent you a private message - if you could respond with your system model type, serial number and claim or case number, I'll certainly look into the issue and see what can be done to accelerate the parts.  Certainly you are owed an up to date ETA.

Its great to see that Lenovo chose Lithium Technologies to power its user to user customer help forums. Im a member of another forum that powered by Lithium and boy let me tell you these were successful. A successful forum is the key to cutting down on your email and phone support times, and increase more confidence end users solving their problems amongst their peers.
