Upgrade IdeaCentre Stick 300 to Windows 10 Anniversary Update

2016-08-11, 21:00 PM

Hi,

I was trying to upgrade the OS on my IdeaCentre Stick 300 to Windows 10 Anniversary Update. But I was prompted that C: drive does not have enough space and there's no way for me to use other disk drives (SD card, USB drive, etc.). I wonder whether someone has done that successfully?

Thnanks.

I used my 64 GB high speed SD card where I saved win1607 iso. Then right click it, mount it and start the installation. About space you need first to backup and delete all your files on disk, uninstall all apps that can be uninstalled, clean up the drive c:, limit page file size manually and maybe turn off hibernation to save even more space. It is better not to keep anything from previous windows or files/apps.
