lenovo 3000 J105 Restore failure

My hardrive crashed so I purchased a new harddrive and attempted to use the restore CDs I created to install the factory software that came with my lenovo 3000 J105 and I receive the following error "Windows was unable to save all the data for the file C:\Recovery\CM2AAUS.IMD. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure." Please help.

Unfortunately this is a mystery that seems the only answer is the restore discs rely on installing the recovery on drives approved by lenovo. If the detection program does not find a specfic HD on the list, it cancels itself.

Thank you for the info, do you know if they have fixed this problem? When I called the customer care line they said that they would send me a new set of rescue and recovery discs.
