CPU Temperature

I have a 510 S. Using Core Temp to chart and monitor the CPU junction temps. Idling along with a load of around 5%, I'm showing 93C. At startup transient temps can hit 135 C.That's with the cover off and an external fan blowing across the Motherboard and CPU. Ambient temp is 24 C.

This seems a little hot to me. The question is, is this normal? Do I run much risk of failure due to temperature stresses?

Thanks

Re: CPU Temperature

Hi Ed_M,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

If you have this temperature without much processes running then it may need to have it checked. If you still have warranty then call in technical support for in-warranty intervention else to have it further investigated by your nearest service center. They would be able to check the cooling assembly and likewise re apply thermal paste if needed.

I hope this helps answer your query.

Update us how it goes for you.

Regards
