Display to tablet

Hi everyone,

I have a Lenovo IdeaCentre 300 and I am trying to wireless display to an Android tablet. I have set up a local network using a router. I am trying to use TeamViewer to remotely display to the tablet. It is working, but it requires a randomly generated password each time you try to pair the tablet and Lenovo. This will not work because if the Lenovo is not connected to a monitor, obviously I can't see the password to type it into the tablet. I do NOT have access to the internet while doing all this. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you so much!

Re: Display to tablet

Hello wolfpackpuller

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.

How do you mean that you cannot see the display if the unit is not connected to a monitor.

I believe there is no wokaround for the password, teamviewer just simply has this feature, you may be able to use something like what I use, RemotR.

This one lets you remote control your desktop and your games separately.

See if this is any better.

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

Re: Display to tablet

Hi wolfpackpullers.

On Team viewer you can create an account and register which PCs the account has access to. So with that you don't require to know the generated password each time. You only need to tell the "guest machine" that always turn on TeamViewer on boot and to connect automatically to that account when it starts.
