Lenovo S30 (0606) high energy use in sleep mode

2019-06-27, 6:27 AM

Hello community,

I've got S30 station with linux OpenSUSE Leap OS.  I leave PC in sleep mode overnight almost 99.9% of the time. Just it have bad behaviour to use about 60W of energy in this state. LED lights and fans in ON position during this stage. I have this PC not from new and never have the thinkstation before, so not sure where is the problem. I have trying to find any related settings in BIOS but maybe missed it. And don't know if Windows OS would be on it this probably won't be different.

Thank you for any reply related to this.

Hi Ceaka! Welcome to our forums community. The Workstation S30 is not listed as compatible with Linux OS. You can check it here: https://support.lenovo.com/ph/en/solutions/pd031426. We hishly suggest you to get back to Windows OS instead.
