I have a Lenovo 3000 9690 A. I totally understand that this PC is just about obsolete but when the hard drive went out a couple of months ago, I bought a larger drive and re-installed my Vista OS. I know what everyone is thinking but I loved this PC.
Anyway, I just discovered that my SD card readers are not working for some reason and can't figure out why.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be and what I can do to get the SD readers to function again?
I would be really appreciative of any help someone could provide.

Not really sure. Just know that I had about 7 Recovery Discs that I had to use to recover my system to its original state.
Wouldn't the drivers that were there in the beginning be on those discs?

hmmmm, well, just in case, heres a link to the latest drivers (at least they should be, not 100% sure):
hmmmm, im guessing your model is from the 3000 C series, as you didnt specify which 3000 seriers, and there's like, 50 million of them(not really, just exaggerating)
ok, cant find it, can you give your specific model number?

hmmmm, there doesnt seem to be a drive listed for the sd card reader on that model, sorry, i dont know what else could be the problem, unless you somehow hit the cable connecting it to your motherboard while adding your new hdd, there could be a number of problems

Thanks for trying.
There's no big need for me to use the drives. I will just pull the photos from my camera to my hard drive and forget about it.
Appreciate your help.
