BIOS update from Lenovo website.

2011-11-01, 18:30 PM

Hi,

I have just updated BIOS from the Lenovo website. I have a N500, with windows XP home. Well I did! The laptop is now looping through " there seems to be a problem", select one of the following, but windows wont start and so returns to there seems to be a problem.

If I could get to the old BIOS but how? The update boxes on screen gave the impression all was fine.

Anyone help? Only option appears via lenovo care button.

What bios version did you try to install? I'm assuming it was v1.10; correct? If so, you can try flashing back to v1.09 which can be downloaded here (at the bottom of the page): N500 bios versions 1.10 and 1.09

Good luck!
