Ethernet Problem

2009-02-28, 21:16 PM
I have got a terribly annoying problem with my realtek fast gigabyte ethernet installed in my 3000 N100 0768. When I plug in the cable, the connection sometimes works, other time it shows that the network cable is unplugged even when it's plugged in. I have already replaced two network cables, but after using both of them, I still get the error with my networking port, i guess it may be a problem with networking port, but only you could tell me the real cause of problem.

Re: Ethernet Problem

My C200, 8922 doesn't show a LAC there, it only shows Wireless Network Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter, 1394 Connection 2 Net Adapter #4 and Lan Realtek RTL8139/810X Family Fast Ethernet NIC.

Can you please tell me how I can get the Local Area Connection to show up.

I just purchased this laptop used.

Thanks
