There is (Maybe was?) a very annoying beep when the battery goes low..

VERY annoying.... I hope this is what its meant to fix..

 

We're not takling the software to not give you a wakeup call when the cable is needed..

I successfully updated the BIOS. Now my fan is no cycling (becouse i use fantastic pad for my g550 - Zalman NC1500) for about 20min's, then start for 1min.

It's very good update, gratz Lenovo!

 

My configuration:

Intel T6600, Nvidia G 105m (or G 210m, idk cuz of drivers issue, maybe lenovo developers can take a look on that?), 3GB RAM, 320GB Hard Drive, Windows 7 32bit.

No, i haven't been contacted by any magazine neither any Lenovo support team so far. I guess it can take a while.

 

IDG doesn't  have anything to do with Lenovo they are just doing an research on different manufacturers services towards their customers and how well they are following their policies.

 

It's a good thing that maybe catches attention of the Lenovo support team back in Sweden :)

Personally I'm still waiting to see if CDON will give me my money back. They've had my computer for almost three weeks now without letting me now. At least I won't be that sad if they just return the computer since you guys at least have got a partial solution.

mark - any progress on collecting motherboards? monday, I spent 20 min. on the phone with lenovo germany only to find out that they didn't have the logistics to pull through. have not been contacted since.

Hy guys, my laptop just came back from service. They replaced the motherboard and it took one week from the day i sent it. I'm satisfied with how fast they worked.

Btw, i didn't send it to the store, i sent it directly to the service that works with lenovo. That way i saved a couple days. You could ask at the store where you bought the notebook if you can send it directly.

 

I have to thank Mark for helping, even if it wasn't his fault that my bios update went wrong.
