Powe manager for Lenovo V310 windows 10

2018-01-05, 11:32 AM

Hello everyone! I got my new Lenovo v310 only to find out that I can't take the battery out so if I want it to last for long I have to take good care of it. I did some research and I couldn't find a power manager that could help set the battery to charge only till 70% in order to preserve it for longer. Can anyone help me out?

Hi Assen,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Built in application like Lenovo Setting and Lenovo companion do offer power management features.

Once you have it updated it would soon update the software to the new Lenovo Vantage for Windows 10.

You can read this document to know more about it.

Once you have it instralled after a fresh restart, you can navigate through hardware setting and click on the Power button where you can change the battery threshold to your liking, else keep the recommended defaults for battery conservation.

Other ways to take care of your battery here on this article.

Hope this helps answer your query.

Regards

Thanks for the answer but I don't have of the apps installed on my computer and whenever I try to download them from the Microsoft Store I get a "Couldn't install. We'll retry shortly" message. Maybe there's another way to download them?

Hi Assen,

If there is a challenge getting it from the MS Store, you can try to download the application directly on the support site for your model.

Try to install both Power management software and applications available for you.

Update us how it goes.

Regards
