Registering new warranty

I was trying to register new warranty for my newly purchased Lenovo C740 and i got an error message "We are unable to process the registration due to a data error. Please contact customer support"


All details i typed are correct, auth code and pin received in the email, is there any common glitch that happens to new users that you are aware of?


Any guidance would be very helful, I logged in the ticket with the support but not sure how long it will take them to come back to me

Hi Urzsula,


Welcome to the Community Forums.


It may just be a server update so perhaps you can try some other time.


You may also call in technical support to have the serial linked to your account.


I would also suggest you check the warranty here (Warranty Lookup) along with the date so it will be adjusted to the invoice as start date.
