Have you tried OneKey Recovery? It will restore computer's factory state but unfortunately remove all the files from system partition.

While computer is shut down, connect it to the power adapter, press Novo Button (usually a small button that is hidden in small hole and must be pressed with something thin and long; more info in the user guide of your laptop) and from Recovery menu selct System recovery. Then use launched program.

What was that update? Was that Windows update?

cheapsoftware, Welcome to Lenovo Community.

I am sorry to read about your problem. Can you please be more specific about what is not working and what you have tried to do to troubleshoot the problem? Did this happen during or after a monthly Windows 10 update, or during the major Fall Creators Update? Or were you updating Lenovo software?  The more details we have the better other members can help you.

Thank you.

Hi, firstly thanks for your attention and time.
I updated the computer by a Lenovo app. I think it was Lenovo Companion. There were some suggested updates it was saying. I clicked OK, then it started to download and load. Everything seemed normal. But then it said the computer has to restart to apply the update and turned off but didn't start normally. I mean cooling fan, charging light, dvd and usb ports are working but there is no electricity in the screen. I tried that special button he offered but didn't work. I also tried to press and hold up the power button millions of times. I searched on the internet, they offered some solutions. One of them was connecting devices to computer to drain its battery so maybe bios resets itself etc. I did everything they said but unfortunately it damaged my sony phones battery. Also solution didn't work. I am now thinking about opening the computer and removing the bios battery or checking the ram cards or something as they do on the internet but I have no education on the computer technology so it would be like a medical operation made by a caveman or something... This computer is fairly new. Just bought couple months ago and what can I do?

It was a Lenovo system update. You know generally useless and dangerous. When you get fatal errors like this, why in the world I clicked YES type of an update..

I suppose it has been BIOS update and it failed. In that case there's not too much to do other than sending notebook to warranty service.
