V200: Fan not working

2012-07-23, 10:38 AM

Hello

I have a Lenovo 3000 V200 Notebook, with heat Issues.

I have installed a clean Version of Windows 7 (64bit)  and also all the aviable Drivers, which is only the System Management Interface.

The fan is now not working, but while the Installation of Windows it was working sometimes.

The Notebook is always shutting down, because of the Overheating Protection.

The inside of the book is clean, and fan could spin without any problems.

Any Tips to get the fan working?

You may need to install Power Management driver
for Vista. Install in Compatibility Mode if it does not
install properly.

Other Vista drivers may be needed also.

But the problem is, your machine may overheat before
proper installation of drivers. A risky situation!
