All the setting on power saver option R fine .

I change nothing in the computer in the last few months so I truly doubt that the setting somewhere is incorrect and it become like that in the last day.

and 2 the 1 with the same problem it really is a silver computer - Lenovo 3000 N 100   I thing all of them look the same .

Mine is too. Whilst working, the screen dims without warning. This has only happened to me twice. I was typing up some of my coursework and the screen went dark. It was just the backlight, as I could still faintly see my work. To solve the problem, I just closed then opened the lid. Should I be worried about this?
Lenovo N200 0796 - B5G. No upgrades.

Hi everyone,
I am having the same  problems... however my laptop is lenovo 3000 Y410...
My screen blacks out without telling me... also when I leave it on for a long time
it goes to a 'resting' mode however when I move my mouse it wont make my screen
come back unless I try to hit some of my keyboard keys.... the laptop can detect me
clicking on the keys however the screen is black and I can not see anything...
this has happened to me more than a few weeks... and when I am lucky I can turn on
the laptop with no black screen but when the laptop wants to... it will just turn on with
the black scree... this is really frustrating me and I really want to fix this...
I tried to call lenovo to see if I can find a service centre to fix this however they did not help me
they just told me to find a computer service centre in Yellow pages with the lenovo sign next to it and they can help me fix
my laptop... however I still cant find any centres....
PLEASE CAN SOME ONE HELP???

In addition, I also tried turning off all the screen saver and power saver settings... its a trial therefore if this works I will
post again to tell you all.....

Is it just the backlight that is dead,
or is everything dead?

I think it's just the backlight because if i was typing in word or something like that i can see something , barrerly, but can C something that show the change of color between the white place and the silver in the top of the word.
