Re: recovery problem

I have the same product, (N200 0769),  and the same problem, reboot/utils/convert.cmd is missed, so a posibility of further recovery to factory default isn't posible.

Everything started, when my PC stoped to start normaly (the black screen was displayed while loading windows), then I used system recovery, but when it was started nothing was happened, it looks as PC stopped to work, so I decided to Install win XP, becouse I needed a working PC at that moment, after all I decided to return to the factory state but I can't (reboot/utils/convert.cmd is missed).

So I don't know what to do, https://expertslive.lenovo.com/ can't be load on my PC (I don'tknow why), so please help me what to do in future to fix this problem?

P.S: I am sorry for my poor english, it isn't my own language

Hello,

I have the same problem.

Is there a way to fix this problem without getting a rescue DVD from the Lenovo service?

There are different ways to share it with others. The best one, I think, is to make the CD/DVD images (with NERO for example), next step - using public hosting, as RapidShare, Depositfiles(2GB per file are possible to share)  publish them on the internet, then you will need just to copy a link here. Second one, also effective, specially if you haven't quick intenet speed, is to use P2P sharing, but it require basic knowledge in such P2P programs, as DC++, Torrent.

P.S:  anyway, sharing them with others would be grateful thing from your
