Adding SSD to V110-15AST

I have this model with  1TB HDD and aDVD drive.   Can I replace DVD with SSD Sata probably by putting it in the DVD caddy? Also I have a spare 128gb SSD m.2 card does this laptop have that interface?

Re: Adding SSD to V110-15AST

Hi RJF,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Theoretically, replacing the DVD for an SSD on a caddy should work but I was not able to see a confirmed successful case yet among our community with this model.

There is no available m.2 SSD storage slot, current PCIe M.2 is intended for the wlan card.

Hope this helps answer your query.

Regards
