Question

Recently my Laptop failed to reboot. Apparently there was a file that was corrupted.. I ran the Lenovo OneKey Recovery and the system was restored back to the original state. However, the Bluetooh refuses to start or function.

What can done to rectify this issue?

Answer

Please try the following

  • Uninstall the "Lenovo Energy Management" software
  • Download the latest "Lenovo Energy Management" software from the support http://support.lenovo.com and reinstall it again.
  • Download the "Bluetooth" drivers aswell to ensure that you have the latest.
  • Ensure that the Wifi master switch is on.
  • Restart your system.
  • Once your machine is restarted press the "FN" + "F5" key on the keyboard. A new window should appear ( See illustration below)
