Failed BIOS Update

I need help, I update the BIOS of my Lenovo 3000 C200 with the version 3.12 utility and it don't start now, the screen keep blank and no sound, bleep, messages, nothing. I have readed that these laptop have the BIOS are Phoneix and that they have some kind of recovery builtin, how can I do it. Please, any help will be much apreciated.

Thank you, but I tried all the methods in that page for Phoenix BIOS but none worked.

try to remove the battery and adapter and press start-up button for couple of minutes.

plug the battery and check if it works.

 

otherwise, contact lenovo support line and ship your laptop back to service for mainboard replacement if you have valid warranty, for free.

Ummm, but those methods works.

 

You have so a few options:

  • Replace your motherbard.
  • Fix your motherboard in a special lab.
  • Call customer services and follow their instructions
