IdeaPad N585 - Battery charging issues

2013-01-09, 22:13 PM

Hey,

As of today my Lenovo N585 is having battery charging issues.

When I plug in the ac-adapter/charger the battery charging animation in Windows shows progress for almost 15 seconds then it stops.

When I boot the laptop with the battery removed it works fine. The battery or Windows is the problem I'm guessing.

Anyone else having this prob?

Rafael M.

I would prefer if you can remove the a lenovo applicaiton called ( Lenovo Energy Management ) and reinstall it again.

Kindly find below the application download link for

Win8: http://support.lenovo.com/en_AE/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS031269

I have this exact same problem, only I'm running Windows 10. So I'm assuming the two windows links you provided aren't going to work for Windows 10.
