I have badly messed up my Lenovo Ideapad N586 laptop. I attempted to download and update my AMD graphics card. However I made two major mistakes. First I attempted to download from AMD and not Lenovo, then I accidently downloaded the wrong drivers. These drivers I then attempted to install which caused my computer to crash. Eventually I realized my error, uninstalled, and then re-installed the updates from the Lenovo website. While this has stopped the error message telling me I have no graphics drivers, it still is not working right. In particular I cannot put the computer into sleep or hibrinate. On top of this I cannot run most games, it tells me I have no Direct X. Yet when I tried to install the Direct X update it tells me I already have it on my system. I am incredibly confused about what to do and would appreciate any help possible.

Welcome to Lenovo Community!
I’m sorry to hear that the AMD Graphics is not working as expected in your N586 Laptop. Please let me know the OS (Operating System) installed in your computer and also check if the issue persists even after performing “System Restore”. Below are the links to perform “System Restore” in Windows 7,8 & 8.1:
Hope to hear back soon
