Keyboard Erratic

I'm using a Lenovo 3000 N100 with Vista-32 OS pre-installed.

When typing any text in any program, my cursor will randomly reposition itself.  Is there a fix to this?  I have even reinstalled the OS with MS OEM DVD.  I still have the same problem.

Re: Keyboard Erratic

I had the same problem with my G530, and it was maddening. Turned out that I was accidentally brushing the touchpad with the palm of my hand at times while typing, and this would cause the cursor to jump to a different location. (even though I could swear I wasn't hitting the touchpad when it happened, I must have been) There is a setting in the touchpad configuration to disable the "tap to click" feature while typing. And you can also set the delay interval for when it reactivates after you quit typing. This solved my jumping cursor problem. Try it on yours.
