LeNovo V330 15IKB ports problem

I have just bought a LeNovo V330 15 IKB.  One of the attractions was the spec, which included two USB 3 ports. I need to use these to connect two USB 3 cameras. Unfortunately, what I think are the ports in question are micro- or mini- female USB sockets.  My cameras have standard USB 3 male plugs on the end of the cables which are, of course, too big to go into these sockets. 

    I need to find the right kind of adaptor, and this is where it would be helpful to know the source of an adaptor with one end a standard female USB 3 socket and the other a smaller male fitting that will fit the DeNovo.  What type exactly are the sockets on the DeNovo? I could not find any specification. I examined the tiny diagram that came with the DeNovo under a microscope but still could not read any comprehensible writing about these ports.

      There are dozens of adaptors on the market, mainly from China, but with no  information about whether they are of a good enough contact quality for USB3 speeds. Also, many have female USB C sockets, which are, according to my websearch, a new type of multi-contact symmetrical connector, something like a Display port socket and not what is needed here. I have ordered a few adaptors but am worried about damaging my new laptop by trying to insert the wrong type.  I would be most grateful for help with this!
