Try clearing the CMOS. That procedure can be useful in correcting some boot up problems. To clear the CMOS, do this.....
1. Unplug the charger / adapter.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Press and hold the Power Button for 15 seconds.
4. Re-install the battery, plug in the charger / adapter if needed and power up the system to see if the problem was resolved.

In addition to majestic post you can also try reseating the RAM and check for the issue, refer the manual to reseat the RAM. Connect only adapter and try to power on the system and check for the issue.

I'm not an owner of your model, but in checking the Hardware Maintenance Manual I see no listing for compatible graphics cards. On that basis I would have to say No.
