Lenovo E10-30 USB Windows Installation

My unit is Lenovo E10-30.

I Bought the laptop on Free-Dos and now I want to Install the Windows 7 through USB device.

However when I tried to install, I received a message that there is a need to load driver of this issue.

Is there any additional Configuration that I need to set in my BIOS.

I have tried in Both side of USB same message I got for it.

I used retail Windows 7 64bit for the windows installation.

Re: Lenovo E10-30 USB Windows Installation

Hello and welcome,

What is the exact message?  Is it "A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing."

If so, it is often a bad ISO download, bad media, a bad copy of ISO or DVD contents to flash drive, or something similar.  It is almost always not a missing driver.

If the message is something else, please tell us what it says.

Z.

Re: Lenovo E10-30 USB Windows Installation

Hi zoltanthegypsy,

Appreciated for the quick response, yeah it is thats the message that prevent me to continue installing the Windows

What I have tried:
- change SATA mode to Compatibility
- swapped the from left USB (3.0) to right USB (2.0)
- try boot as Legacy, Priority Legacy First
- USB boot enable

but still same issue.

I will try to look for External CD/DVD and boot from CD/DVD installation or try to reimage my ISO on my USB drive.
