I know it is possible to upgrade the hard drive but I am reading about a M.2 SATA drive but not sure if my hard drive is a M.2. Please tell me.
If the image doesn't show it's a seagate momentus thin 500GB hard drive taken out of a HP laptop.

Hi AustinJaymes ,
Welcome to the Community Forums.
If you are referring to a Lenovo N22 Winbook (Lenovo) then as per hardware specification (page 27):
Storage : eMMC: 32 GB/64 GB and M.2 SSD: 128 GB as options.
You can use the bigger SATA as an external pluggable drive instead using a harddrive enclosure.
Hope this help answer your query.

is there a list of compatible SSDs? which ons can they accept? it seems there are 3 different interfaces for M2. I just tried a samsung 960 EVO and it did not detect in the BIOS or in windows, so i returned it. i would like to know exactly which SSDs are compatible, or at least which types i am looking for NMVE, SATA, etc. there isnt any info on which one it is in the hardware PDF

Is it common for Lenovo N22 hard drives to die after the warranty expires? I purchased my Lenovo in Oct 2016, in March 2018 my solid state or hard drive died. Is this a common problem and what would it cost to get it repaired?
