Lenovo N500 - DVD Driver required to replace corrupt driver

2009-10-01, 22:33 PM

H,

I recently purchased a Lenovo N500 for my bother in law. After spending a considerable time setting it up for him, etc and delivering it to him in France (I am in the UK), he phoned me to tell me that when the machine boots up, the DVD driver no longer works, a message states that the driver is corrupt.

I of course instructed him to uninstall the driver, and then to turn the compute off, and thenback on. However, this did not clear the problem.

Can anyone point me to a driver which I can send to him to install, and replace the corrupt driver.

Thanks

Ken

P.S. Installed with Windows vista, and all updates
