I have a problem with my Lenovo N500. i have it for about 3 years now, but this problem is there since 2 years.
Whenever i play a computergame that needs a bit more graphic performance, the laptop shuts down completely. The power is completely off. I have been on several forums where people had similar problems but there werent any answer that could have helped me. Most of these users said that it is an overheatingproblem and thats why the laptop has some kind of an emergency shoutdown. I allready cleaned the cooler and all the stuff, but this porblem still occurs.
I have installed the Lenovo Toolbox and performed a systemtest and it says, that the GPU heats up to 100° Celsius. I dont know if that is too high...
All my drivers are up to date (including bios and so on).
Is there any way of fixing this problem (perhaps even by raising the emergency shutdown temperature? or by having the fan on full speed all the time)
Thanks for the answers!
