Lenovo V310 stuck battery level and sometimes says not charging

I purchase this laptop 3 weeks ago.

First time I charge it till 100 percent, then unplug the cable, but after several hours of using, the battery level is still at 100% percent. Ok, I shut down it and boot tommorow morning, and it shows the correct battery level.

so I charge it againt, but untill 86%, then unplug the cable, and that happends again, the battery level didn't show the correct level. So I shut down it and boot again, the battery shows 16%, and I plug the cable, but it says not charging.

What happend here and how to Fix it ?
Thanks You !!!

Re: Lenovo V310 stuck battery level and sometimes says not charging

Hello Adamsanda

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.

Try a static discharge for this, it may help to resolve the issue or at least get rid of any built up static on the motherboard.

(If the battery is internal, please just skip the remove/replace battery steps.)
1. Turn the unit off
2. Remove the battery and the Mains adapter
3. Press and hold the front power button for 30 seconds
4. Replace the battery and the Mains adapter
5. Turn the unit on as normal

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
