Lenovo n22 Windows is not booting

2017-01-09, 20:57 PM

Every time I try to turn on my lenovo n22 windows notebook, the 'Lenovo' boot screens appears, sits for a moment, goes black, then comes on again. This has been happening on loop for hours. I have tried rebooting it, to no avail. Any thoughts?

Hi MusicSam,

From what you describe it looks like windows is getting a BSOD. Could you try and load the BIOS and reset the BIOS settings. you can do this by :

Follow this link to get into the BIOS.
Once inside BIOS press FN + F9 and select Yes. Then press FN + F10 to save and exit.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Hi MusicSam and welcome to the community,

A static discharge can attempt to resolve this problem, and below are some instructions on how to perform this:

1. Turn the unit off
2. Remove the battery and the Mains adapter
3. Press and hold the front power button for 30 seconds
4. Replace the battery and the Mains adapter
5. Turn the unit on as normal

Dont worry if the battery can not be removed, Just hold for 60 seconds instead of 30.

Hope this help you and let us know how you get on
