Lenovo v110-isk sound problem

Hi guys,

For the past two days, there is no sound from my computer. However, when I plug in my earphones I can hear all the sytem sounds, songs, videos, etc. I tried to connect the laptop to the TV via HDMI, but there is no sound there, too. I also tried to update, deactivate & reactivate the high definition audio device, but nothing changed. Any suggestions?

If sound has stopped working there are few tips you can try.

Before you will go for any further options, first you need to make sure, you have not muted the volume. In Windows, click on the sound icon in your system tray and make sure there is no red circle with a cross going through it. Also, make sure to raise the volume bar to something higher if it’s very low.
