N100 and Intel Virtualization Technology

I have install MS Virtual PC 2007, and I want to enable hardware virtualization, but I cannot find a setting the BIOS setup to enable this feature. I checked that both my particular Core 2 and chipset support virtualization.

Is there a BIOS update from Lenovo to support this? It seems strange that a business orientated product has this feature disabled!

Re: N100 and Intel Virtualization Technology

Hi

I asked a similar question about DEP (Disable Execute Protection) which is supported by the chip on a N200 but not through the BIOS for the Lenovo 3000 N200.

From various replies it seems Lenove have stripped off and dumb down the 3000 series and do not offer these sorts of features.

Re: N100 and Intel Virtualization Technology

Hello, I wanted to use xpmode on windows7. But that gives me the error, "Windows virtual pc requires hardware-assisted virtualization. There is no hardware virtualization support in this system." .

This problem how it fix?

Thank you.

Regards.
