I had to reformat the system due to virus attack.
I have reloaded everything back but the wireless is not recognized at all.
I have added the drivers for windows 7 64bit. It says there is no device.
This is the driver I found in Lenovo support 0zwi02ww.exe
The setting in the defunt system was broadcom 802.11 network adapter & the microsoft virtual.
I do have 2 yellow marks in the device manager
1 is the pci simple communication manager
2 is the network controller.
The lan commuinication is fine.
When it comes to the video, the problem I have is that the external vga port does not recognize any monitor attached.

Welcome to Lenovo Community!
I’m sorry to hear about your situation, for PCI simple communication manager. I would suggest you to install the “Intel Management Engine Interface” driver listed under Category>Chipset listed in the below link and please check if the “Wirelerss LAN Support” is enabled in BIOS listed under “Configuration” tab.
Hope this helps!!!
Do post us back if the issue still persists.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. Yes the loading of energy managemnet and reloading of driver for wireless, did the trick. I do have wireles service now.
The problem with the video persist; The problem is that I can not connect an external monitor.
The PCI simple communication manager yellow mark still there in the device manager.
There are 2 video drivers 1 is for nvidia and the other is the Intel. I belive I should use the intel, as I tried to install the nvidea driver and it says that I do not have that card.
Installing the intel driver, seems ok, but I get a dialog box with a red circle with an X in it and no other message in the dialog. nothing further there.
In my notes in the defunt drive. Under the DeviceManger/ Display did say HD graphics 3000; now it says Statndard VGA.
Is there anything else I need to install first or a is there different driver?

I suggest you to install the Intel driver in administrator mode, while installing the driver right click on the downloaded file and select “Run as administrator” option to get it installed without any error. But if the issue persists, below is the step under “To download and update a driver”. Below is the link for the steps:

Thanks for keeping the help. I tried the reloading of intel driver using the right click way as an administartor.
I tried under administrator account. Both with the same result . It end with the same blank x image. See below.
I notice also that the sound group in the device manager shows default , not the Conexant Audio Driver
I tried to install that driver and nothing happens, it just goes trough the motions.
I tried to update the driver from the device manger and instructed to go to the c:\driver
It does not find the drivers.
The link to microsoft is mostly for w8. I did not find any support for w7-64

I’m glad to hear that the audio & Video is working as expected after updating the drives from manufacturer website. Please feel free to post in Lenovo Community Forums if you have any further queries!
