So I just replaced the power jack in my Lenovo Ideapad N585, put it all back together, plugged it in, everything seemed to be working fine. I plug it in, and the battery indicator light pops up and starts blinking orange, obviously indicating that power is getting to the laptop. Now when I hit the power button - nothing happens. No blinks, no lights, no noises, no nothing. I leave and have a snack for about 15 minutes. I come back, and now the battery light is solid orange, and blinks off for a split second about every 5 seconds. Could this be a problem with the power button, or should I let it charge for longer?
