I'm unsure which forum this should be posted in. Apologies if this is incorrect.
As the question stands, is it possible to upgrade the screen from HD to FHD IPS?
I have found This Glossy Screen with the help of their sites customer service, which should fit the laptop. But i am wondering if there is any help you guys at Lenovo (or anyone else) can give, as this information is a bit sparse.

My time is very limited this period so haven't tried the swap yet! (ah and money also).
I've got some interesting pieces of information from the official repair manuals of Lenovo.
My first step was to find a laptop from v110-..... series with the full HD screen. THIS IS THE ONE ( lenovo v110-15IKB)
I wasn't so concerned about the screen but for the cable to run.
Both laptops use the same cable code W80 TL (5C10L78348) - AND MY LAPTOP (5C10L78348) according to this SITE
Later made a search for the SCREEN PART NUMBER of 15IKB (FHD screen) also in Lenovo parts lookup site.
The only thing that remains is to order one screen (random choice) and check if WORKS.
Hope someone is brave enough and give it a shot.
In my country, there is no option for cheap shipping so the cost would not be sufficient if need to send it back for replacement with another part.
WISH YOU GOOD LUCK.

Great to hear. It's a shame nobody has tried it yet, i also do not wish to be the first to do so, as i'm currently a student and time/money is difficult for me right now.
It appears that it *should* be possible from your findings though, and i have been advised that it may in fact work with the ones i linked in the OP.

I also would like to know it the Lenovo V110 ( 7th Generation) screen can be upgraded from normal HD.to FHD IPS.
Has any one successfully managed the transplant?
I do know the 6th generation model is equipped with a fhd screen as standard .
I have been told the video cable may need changing, can anyone offer some much needed advise.
