Power supply to v570

Yesterday I left my v570 on and went to do something else. When I returned a hour later it was power off and the little orange led on the power supply was blinking.

My laptop now does not want to power on, and the power supply blinks every time I plug it in. I have tested another power supply and it does the same. I have removed the battery and attempted to power up, same result. I have given it time to cool down or the likes with no luck.

Does anybody have any ideas for me or do I need to scrap this and move on ?

Re: Power supply to v570

Welcome to the Lenovo Community !

Sorry to hear of the issue you are having.  Unfortunately the blinking light is not an error code so it is difficult to pin point where the problem maybe.  Try doing a reset by doing the following.....

1. Unplug the charger / adapter.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Press and hold the Power Button for 15 seconds.
4. Re-install the battery and plug in the charger / adapter and try powering up the system to see if the problem was resolved.
