Recovery partition & Dynamic disk

I own a LENOVO IDEAPAD V460, 59 - 044185. It has recovery partition at the end of the disk. Mistakenly I've converted the disk to a dynamic disk. Now, what I learnt is the only way to convert a dynamic disk to a basic one is to delete all the partitions on th disk & recreate the partitions. There are a couple of other workarounds, too - one is using a third party software & another is from Microsoft provided any dynamic disk specific feature has not been used. I've only one physical disk in the system, As booting from dynamic disks is still not permitted, my laptop is unbootbale now. Is there any workaround from LENOVO, so that I can retain the recovery partition & still covert it to a basic disk?

Re: Recovery partition & Dynamic disk

you can delete the dynamic disc but one key recovery will stop working.

if you have recovery disc, use them or contact lenovo support line and ship your laptop back to service to re-format your whole hard disc.

( lenovo may charge you )
