Register?

2012-01-01, 18:53 PM

My girlfriend's son bought her a V570 for Christmas, and I can't seem to register it. Does it have to be registered for the warranty to be in effect? I tried but the pulldown boxes will not let me.

no, you don't need to register the system.   the system's warranty will already been in effect.

you can confirm the system's warranty status here:  http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/product-service/warranty-status/default.page?

hi comsax1
in normal circumstances, you won't need to register the warranty. just in case if you need, you can take a look at the warranty status check and/or warranty register pages below:

http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/uk/en/warranty/Warranty.html
http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/uk/en/Member/member.aspx

hope this helps.
