I am using the following computer
Operating System:Windows Vista Home Basic Celeron M 575(2GHz), 1GB RAM, 160GB 5400rpm HD, 15.4in 1280x800 LCD, Intel 4500M, CDRW/DVDRW, 802.11bg wireless, Modem, 10/100 Ethernet, Touchpad, Camera, 6c Li-Ion, WinVista Home Basic 32
I keep getting a little noise (not a beep) and a message that pops up continually that says USB Device not recognized. I believe that this has to do with my integrated camera which quit working a while ago. I disabled it (the camera) but am still getting the same message. A few weeks ago I was getting a message continually that "The USB device could work faster if I connected it to a faster port. I am getting these messages even though I have NO USB device plugged into any of my USB ports. Any ideas of how to keep these messages from poping up, as it is drving me nuts.

USB devices are not working, I would request you to please uninstall all the Universal Serial Bus Controllers from the Device Manager, to do so right click on My computer and then choose the manage option and click the Device Manger.
After that restart the system and then visit the below mentioned web link and install the Intel Chipset Driver.
Please restart the system and check if the issue resolved.
