V130-15IGM (81HL001WRU) and M.2. PCIe SSD?

Hi,

I'm considering buying V130-15IGM and I have M.2. PCIe SSD (Kingston A1000 240GB). I wonder, are they compatible?

Here is hardware service manual:

https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles_pub/v330-15ikb_v330-15isk_v130-15igm_v130-15ikb_hmm_201...

I am not sure whether "PCIE --- LAN, WLAN, SSD" refers to 15IGM also.

Hi!

Thanks for posting in the Community,

We've checked the M.2 Port on the Motherboard of the V130-15IGM that you're using via the machine type model 81HL001WRU, and found that it's using PCIe NVMe M.2 Port (See attached photo). Therefore, you need an M.2 SSD with a PCIe NVMe connection for it to work with your laptop.

Regards,

Just in case anyone else would be interested in this, I have bought the laptop and it is indeed has M.2. NVMe slot + usual SATA 2.5 one. See also this video:
